NextEire 2009

NextEire 2009
A New Beginning

My very first big contribution to the Galway community!!

For the last 3 years, I've always only been a silent spectator. I come to events and functions to support the hardworking people who are generous enough to part with their time and energy organizing such things. I help a little where i could, but never really doing much.

Ahhh, but this time around i have finally gotten my hands dirty. I wonder why no one bothered to tell me that keeping yourself busy with work can be so much fun. (^____^)v

NO time to be bored.
NO time to diddle-daddle and be lazy.
NO time to mope around or be moody.

It's a not-so-familiar type of adrenaline surge - this whole business of having NO (less?) time for yourself. It's the type of rush that zonkes you out completely but at the same time gives u a sense of satisfaction you won't get any other way.

So yeah, i'm proud of myself for doing this (i never knew i had it in me).
And a big THANK YOU to the committee members:
You people are the greatest!

Now, next up on the MYS calendar:
Islamic Awareness Week.

Oh my, i really don't know how to responds to that. Err, thanks?

Truthfully, i'm not really worthy of such high praises. I've never actually achieved anything others before me haven't already achieved. So in essence, I'm merely tracing the footsteps of great people. (and i sway out of track most of the time.. LOL)

But yeah, thank you! Your kind words made my day =)

p/s: we're friends aren't we? A name to address u wud be nice. Anonymous just feels rather detached and impersonal.

I'm not so sure whether u know me or not..i'm tengku hafiz..one year seniority back in jenan..reaching ur blog from one alumnus that linked his to yours.worth reading ur chronicles..picture of u with the blue scrubs in previous post is so meaningful..it tells others on how those who are high achievers appreciate any single minute.hmm..i should revisited myself on this.
all the best future lady doctor!

I'd love to say i remember you, but err.. the name's not ringing any bells. sorry =(

(Maybe a picture could jolt my memory better. Facebook maybe? hehe...)

And ahhh, linked from someone huh? Can i get the URL if u dont mind?

Owh..i followed the link from mior's blog.i'm pretty sure he did ask your permission first for that course.

My "so-humble-down-to-earth" attitude in jenan made me nobody..i guess..lol

I'm yet to join the facebook(kesian..late bloomer kan ~)
but having it sounds like a good idea..bosan la dgn friendster.

hehehe, he didn't actually (ask for my permission). But i don't really mind . =)

Yeah, facebook is kinda cool and it's a very convenient way to keep in touch with ur friends. Don't worry about being a late bloomer cos late bloomers also bloom eventually. So what are ya waiting for? LOL.

p/s: u're not a nobody, it's my arid memory that you should blame. I always hv trouble remembering people. =)
